had a nasty kerb jump out on me a while back and scrached on of my "Melbourne" wheels .

asked vw dealer what could be done about it he was like new wheel pal.
@145 quid or some thing

went to the vw deal in doncaster top bloke said he gets a 3rd party company in who tidys up there 2nd hand cars and stuff gave me his number.

got the wheel repaired 4 £25 all in cant even tell :wink:

That's a really, really good price!

Man, the Dutch wheel God went from 30 Pounds two years ago to 80 quid now! Rip off.

Took three weeks too!

There are several wheel places in my city that can bring an alloy to new-condition for R25.00-R30.00 (£5.34-£6.40). :D

Had to use their services a couple of times with my old fiesta, which had the 4-spoke 'X' alloys - I think you know the type.
