Advice needed . . .

Hello all, glad to have found a place for MK1 owners at last!!

I have a couple points I could do with help on regarding my '77 LS:

1. Where would be the best place to get lowered springs and shocks for my '77? I have been told that the suspension is the same as a mk1 golf, is this right?

2. I need a few trim pieces. I need, thin chrome at bottom of front grille, thin chrome trim for the boot and passenger side front wing trim (plastic trim with the chrome insert). Does anyone know of where I can get replacements or has second hand replacements they would like to sell?

Suspension wise all Mk1 2 3 Polos are the same. Venomotorsport sell some TUV approved lowering kits, I've used them, they're good buget items.

They do a full kit for £170 + VAT! Thats my kinda pricing!

if yours is there chrome bumper model then you will need the top spring mounting off a later type 86 polo as they are a differant size
