Had one, very flash phone but once you get past the looks it's not actually that good. Very annoying to use and awkward keypad. If you only use it really for phoning and looking pimp, then it's all good.:D

Camera is 0.3mp, not the best quality but it's still not that bad as phone cams go.

is that the Razr?

I think it's an 0.3 (VGA rez, 640x480), the pics are sharper than off my 70k-pixel job (regular 352x288 webcam/camphone ccd) but not stunning.

mate has ... er... HAD one until last week. only had the razr about three months. likes to change his mobile a lot, and sells it on ebay for more than he paid ;)
(who knows you might even be buying from him if you get it there)

looks like a nice enough phone, oddly the keypad isnt as annoying as it looks, however unless you read the manual a couple times before using the menus will drive you crazy as they're well unintuitive (unlike say a nokia or a siemens, which follow the regular "choose option, press ok to enter, and cancel to go back" formula)

My mate has the black one - very pimp! Supa sexy. I have the V620 which has identical software (and camera I think) and I have no tiffs with the layout and navigation- very good. Seems reliable enough.

However, one problem a lot of Motos seem to have is chager problem. I had to get mine flashed at The Carphone Warehouse to sort it out (under warranty). The same mate with the V3 got the same non-charging problems as me, but because he bought it sim-free he had to send it to Motorola. Who "fixed" it, sent it back still buggered and he's now had to send it back again.

That;s the only thing I can fault.

I got a black one at the weekend.

Camera is well, average really. Doesn't really bother me though.

Fact is, it looks incredible. With a keypad made from a single piece of chemically etched metal, and big colour screen it does look stunning. Black one looks even better than the silver one I reckon.

As for navigation, took me about an hour but it becomes fairly simple fairly quickly :D

I've heard that those Motorolas have a problem when charging, my friend had a helluva problem with his StarTAC (if you are old enough to remember them! big black clamshell design?) kept returning it back and getting it replaced...in the end he got a Nokia! I'm sure they would have resolved the problem now with new technology and improvements with design...I was considering getting the V3 as well but after going to a wedding recently hand noticed when seated that almost everyone had one it kinda put me off...glad I bought my Nokia 8800 a few weeks back! hee hee!

lol cant complain about the motorolas i had... lasted more than a year of constant battery abuse each, and for two of them, regular AAs and AAAs could be bodged to fit once the original equip had burnt out ;)

however having to spend a good hour learning how a menu system works is 57 minutes too long (arguably 58m30s)... if others can make it damn near intuitive (even my nan can use a nokia, with some tuition, and she still hasnt come to terms with the TV remote having channel up AND down functions) then motorola have little excuse for the overly buttony mess on the razr. my abiding memory is having about seven options at almost every point, based on pushing the navpad different ways or hitting the under-screen function keys, when a simpler list / pop-up menu would have sufficed.
