Just witnessed a car crash...involved a Polo!!!

Post by M@Turner »

Well At about 10.30pm i heard 2 cars travelling along my road then an massive crash. :?:

Ran to the window to see a white K-reg Polo Coupe sideways on in the middle of the road and next door but one neighbours green Micra across the path.

Got some pictures of the wreck but looks like the Polo came off quite well. Unfortunately the Polo looks like it was stolen seen as the driver did a runner and ran and jumped in the white Corsa which was following. "What an Oscar"

Update soon.

I can't believe the Polo didn't hit my Bro's CTR that was outside the house on the road. Our house is about 15m on from the corner and you'd expect it would have been the Civic to have been hit.

Doesn't bare thinking about if my bro's car had have been hit tho. My brother loves his car more than anyone else i know. He'd have ran after the kid that hit it and broke all his limbs and possibly reshaped his face. Come to think of it tho, if it had been my car, i think i'd do the same......and i ain't an aggressive person.

Bit of an update.

Apparently the car is registered to know one at this time so the police are having to look into the cars past history. Also, there was i fire arm found in the car (BB Gun) which i think they've finger printed.

Also this dinner time before i went to work, a lad (who looked like the guy who was driving and did a runner) knocked at my neighbours door pleading his innocence (sp?) Apparently he'd been arrested at 3am by the cops who thought he was the suspect.

Guilty conscience me thinks.

Pics to be loaded up soon!!!!

Unfortunatelt Metz, it weren't a GT. Just a CL i think.

It was towed away by Woodhead recovery i believe. If you want to try and find out where that is then you may be able to go and get some bits from it.

how can it be registered to "no one"???

until its dismantled completely i.e. all parts and panels taken off and the core chassis destroyed (or it's cubed), the dvlas continuous registration system means that SOMEONE is noted as it's official owner. even if its the insurers or a scrapyard owner who's taken receipt of it to dismantle
