I'd love to try a Lupo GTi back to back against my Polo.

The Lupo has the benefit of the six-speed 'box on the newer ones, which I think is something the Polo could really have used. And also the Lupo has the added bonus of the same engine in an even lighter bodyshell.

What put me off getting a Lupo, was the fact that they're holding value very well, and that really they are perhaps too small for my liking

the Lupo was my choice but the price was still a little to high for my budget. The 6 speed box and central exhaust are nice touches.

Love my Polo to bits and its bigger so thats good.

P.S What do people think of the Lupo in Raven Blue. (don't think i've seen one in flesh....very rare)

Raven blue is a fantastic colour 8) I've seen a couple over the last few months but compared to black and silver Loops they're a rarity. The last Raven Blue VW I saw was an '54'-plated Polo GT on the Dealer's forecourt - I was tempted to go in and ask them how much for a swapsies deal - the GT was up for £12,000!

its got to be the polo Gti, even though the lupo
is a really cool car and probs slightly faster than the polo, the polo looks alot better than the lupo dose in black. a mate of mine has the a lupo Gti in red and it looks really smart. over all i think the polo looks better, but i would say that since i got one!!

I said the Polo, basically because in my eyes the Lupo looks to cutesy and girly, although it's a different story speedwise, the Polo just looks a lot tougher.
I would have had a black one but I think the silver highlights everything much better as it's brighter, the black looks very stealth though.
