i've got one...finally - but still need some help

hi guys,

to cut a long story short - got my gti back from garage yesterday, bought it privately last monday and the clutch went on the way home - so they've had it for the week.

anyroad - all fixed now - its a 51 plate 5dr flash red - 21,000 miles - i paid £5,400 for it, plus the £600 for new clutch/service + mot - so thats £6,000.

am chuffed to bits with it - clutch is good, a little squeeky/creaky as i push it down - but i've been told this is okay - i'm paranoid about it being the pedal box or something - any opinions?
