New timing belt, pulley, tensioners and water pump
how much would this cost at a vw garage?? can you just get the timing belt changed on its own?? only keeping the car untill the new gti polo comes out but dont want to risk it snap'n as its hit 47000miles. :wink:

Should be in the region of £300-£350 at VW I think, get the whole lot changed as the tensioners are prone to failure, and the water pump on my mk4 went at about 38k taking the cambelt with it.
Gonna get mine done later in the year, I'm at 42k.

I think I paid about £300 at JBS for a Cam Belt Set, Tensioners and Water Pump on my Polo GTi.
