Thanks guys for the replies on the question of the meaning of PD........way more info than I needed :D As for the warranty question, well the cars 2 years old (I just bought it) and the warranty is not valid, as it was owned by a VW garage, which became an Audi dealership, and from then on its all stamped up as Audi servicing, so not done by VW, so warranty invalidated. :cry: But at least its got a FSH.

I'd take up the matter with VW UK, after all the garages are part of the same group, so basically they're saying if you own a Skoda and it's serviced by a Bentley garage (all stamped up) then the warranty's invalid.

Thats what I said to them, but they muttered something about different franchises etc. Anyone got any contact details for VW UK?
