Hello 2

Post by Mja »

I've already done a few posts but thought it was about time I said hello. :D Just got a '01 1.9 TDI S..............................Estate :shock: Well someones got to have one! But I needed an estate to lug my fishing kit around etc. Me and the wife are well into cars, rallies etc, our other car being a Mini Cooper (and I ain't talkin about no BMW piece of **** either) I won't go any further on that subject, cos I'll only get my soapbox out.
I'd be interested in any reasonable, sensible (and not so sensible), ideas of a few mods to do, (I've gotta get some alloys is step 1 I think) Am I the only person on here with a 6k? BTW I don't drive it like an old fogey either, I may be in my late thirties, but owning a Mini makes you go out looking for windy roads :lol:
So once again, hello to everyone on the Forum, thanks for any advice past, present & future, and any ideas would be most welcome.

Hiya mate and welcome. I can't really advise on what to do, but like you said alloys and maybe get some sounds in there too?

Or maybe a little engine mod here and there I.E panel filter etc

Yep the old Mini is a REAL Mini! 8)

An estate? Like this one?

...because I dig estates. Or Variant's as we know them. I kinda want one.

Recommended mods:

Colour Concept rear lights (all red)
Some rare wheels to your liking.

Welcome!

big is beautiful go for some chrome 18/17 inch rs rims and then drop it a few mm, light tint on the windows and remove any badges that it may have that should make it stand out. 8)

On "Big is beautiful";

The above variant is rolling on 14" Pirelli wheels. I love it. As far as I'm concerned, it's not size that matters, but drop + class. 17's will look nasty on a standard-height car, even if they're Porsche 17's.

One more example of a fine Variant:

Slammed. 15" Schmidt TH line (einteilig).
