Steering Part Needed.

Hi. Spent today putting my polo back to stock, by removing alloys, coilovers etc, and when i had installed original suspension, the wheels were on an angle and not even pointing straight so i began messing about with it a bit. Actually undid all of the steering to extend the column, which was defo the wrong thing to do because i have made a right mess of it. Dont know the name of the exact part but it is the black thing which connects the wheel support to the column, and contains a greased bearing.. I have pretty much knackered it. Could someone please tell me the exact name of this part and how much i am going to be looking at paying for one.
