replacement panels

Post by nickpolo »

hi guys,

my polo is going into a crash repairers for some work, can you tell me will the replacement parts (ie bonnet, front drivers wing, lower fron bumper etc) will they be as resistant to chips as and rust as the panels that were installed when it was built at the factory, or is there a process it goes through when they cars were built that these replacements wont be subject to?

thanks guys

I can only guess that if geniune vw panels are used and the paint job is done professionally and to a high standard, then you should have no problems?

If it's an insurance job then genuine VW parts will be used to repair the car, and the respray should be of a high standard. It should come back to you looking like new!
