On the back windows, as much as you like (ie Van style)

On the front sides, up to 35% (I think!)

The windscreen, nothing obviously :D

fronts 35 + VW original tint makes it illegal

better to get some 45% and stay on the legal side :D

yes was told if the front are tinted then its illegal but up to 25% i think you are ok cause a copper pulled me about mine and i was told to remove the front tint as he was being a clever d**k but when i went to the police station about it they said its fine as long as it is up to 25% so not sure but i guess they dont bother unless they have nothing to do.... my tints are 25% front and 100% limo black in the back so i guess thats fine as the copper had a light gage through the window to test the light

A load of my mates have light smoke all around (not sure what % that is) and they've had no problems at all.

I think if you can see through the drivers and passenger side windows you should be fine, I think the fuzz are more bothered if they cannot see the driver, hence should any problems arise where they may need to identify the driver they can do...

when i was pulled for my tints i had the front tested and the guy said that the standard VW tint is about 5% off be illegal and that it wasn't worth getting them re-tinted.
