GT still running dodgy..

Post by Nick101 »

After my GT messed up before and was cutting out i replaced the dizzy and then it was fine. But its still not right.
I think its over fueling, i seem to be gettin crap MPG, i put a £10 in and ive had about 40-50 miles and its nearly time to fill up again :?
its still popping loads when i rev it, or when im shifting down, or letting off
its dodgy starting usually, esp when cold.
It lacks power when its cold.
Its idleing fine, but can be a bit dodgy sometimes.
Usually when i blip the throttle it does'nt rev straight away, it like sounds like its gona die, but when it does pick up.

I dont know that to do!?!?! :x Can anyone please give me some ideas of what could be wrong, its going in for repairs soon, and i would be able to get it sorted when its in.

Cheers

If it's overfuelling check the lambda. Just unplug it and see if it runs better / gives better mpg.

No, it should run better. As it's not giving dodgy reading to the ecu, it's just running on a preset, safe map.

hhmm interesting, may try that also. Mines heavily overfueling at the start, as far to say that you can smell the fuel.
