Obsessed with Foglights?
Just wondering, what is it with mk3 polo owners and wanting foglights?
On my old gt they were allready fitted (badly) when i bought the car. Got them factory fitted on my g now, but my main lights are sooo much better with uprated bulbs and uprated wiring loom, mikes my fogs look like orange candles now!

I don't think it's about actually using them.. they just add something to the looks of a car. Blanking plates in place of the foglamps tend to indicate a low spec car, so fitting the fogs just completes the look of it.
In my case, I fitted them because my dad had a set in the loft that he didn't want and I had a few hours free

I will eventually get round to fitting some but its going to be next year now. I got some BMW E36 crystal foglights a few months ago to go with my In-Pro headlights for my GT.
with me its purely for the aesthetics, but its cheaper for me to restyle the front end of the car (making a new front bumper with the bmw fogs) that to get some vw fogs

its an asthetics thing mostly! maybe the multiple number of lights makes you look good, i'll have to ask my uncle, sooooo many llghts he had on his type 25 bus!
i definatly want a set! i think they finish the front off nicely and yes, no fogs usually means a lower spec model, especially with todays cars!
