Had a great weekend, definately worth the 1179 mile round trip journey!

We spoke to Christian6n from Austria ( I think) and turns out we rolled/drove further than him!

Enjoy!

Well no one else was goin' near it, so if I wanted pictures of my car they would have to be taken by me. The pics of my car are mostly because I took pictures of our "group" 8) :D

Hahaha! Thanks a lot. We were getting some right funny looks on our journey down, mostly utter confusion.

Big thanks to Jelbs again for the stickers.

He'll do (almost) anything for you I imagine. Just give him a shout, I think he's only on Porka.

is he from austria or the netherlands? i cant remember......

that's just a sudden thought i had before making this map (wasnt trying to prove anyone wrong, i really hadnt a clue which would be further)

straight line from a point not very far into austria, vs following the roads (roughly) from aberdeen. course the numbers could be closer if he flew from innsbruck into standsted and caught a lift on the northbound convoy, logging it all by GPS, and the roads between aber and the M6 are as wiggly as i imagine them to be.

probably the netherlands, come to think of it, but the great thing about europe is that all the countries are smashed together much as england is with scotland and wales, so he may have just gone to Ös on a holiday jaunt before finishing off with polo show :D

the yellow blob isnt me being cack-handed with paint, its something autoroute did when i hilighted the town

PS ... still hunting for a pic with the stickers in (still having bandwidth trouble), whose was the pup?

PPS when comedy comes upon you... always grasp it with two hands.. and one shutter finger!

but dont forget the tissues to wipe up with after
...that's a far, far sadder image than even the granada owners club was!

Jeez..

Well I spoke to Christian and he was telling me how many miles he'd covered in his car to come to the show and we'd done more! Anyway, it's not a competition. It was just dead funny how he was totally dumbfounded, he was like "But you are in... same COUNTRY?!"

Hahah, nice guy!

The puppy was Millie - Mart's (Jelbs) and his wife's dog! (the guy in the turqoise shirt at the end of the gallery)

Oh, and Merc club was FUNNY AS! But not as funny as some of the monstrosities from the PT Cruiser or Granada club

These were the stickers Jelbs made up for me!
