9N Accessories

Post by mfa-polo »

Found this a while back now:

http://www.vw.co.za/enthusiasts/caracce ... lo&catID=0

Why dont we (the uk) get offered such a comprehensive selection of accessories?

Yeah some interesting stuff, could do with a few more pictures though.

Did you notice they also have the R-line pedals?

Probably better that the 'sport' pedals

Maybe smaller market, so they chuck all options at in, to get interest?

All these bits should be able to be got for your 9Ns too over here :)

I just feel we shouldn’t have to scrat around, trying to find some nice accessories, just get the feeling that they are a bit complacent in the UK.

Hi guys...pretty new here, just joined tonight actually.
We do get some really nice accessories over here, but it's not because it's a small market. VW is pretty one of the largest manufacturer over here.
The smaller car makers and imports are not well supported, which is one of the main reasons why I traded in my Clio 172 in on the Polo.

i've actually seen more vw's and polos in specific in South Africa than i've seen anywhere else! It's like a polo heaven, most of them being the limusine version. And also, all of the accessories mentioned above are available on the german votex website..

Yeah I spotted the german votex site, but find reading english easier than german (only got a D in my GCSE)

My original point was, if you pick up a uk accessaries catalogue, you get a couple of pages of wooden gear knobs, and a crappy looking grille. Would be nice to have a catalogue worth dipping into.

If you guys give me the part numbers of what accessories you're interested in, I'll check with my local dealer, and from there, who knows, we might be able to organise something
