Painting Headlight Housings

Have you seen the headlights of this POlo.

Do you think they were painted or there is a place that sell them?.

i do theese occasionally and there at butt munch to seperate in europe as the selent is different so you hqave to use a hot air gun and spend about an hour going round each light levering it up then moving on but it looks amazing

A.K.A. the 'Joey Mod' on Mk4 Golfs and even Mk3's now.

Definitely a DIY job on the black 9n.

Looks allright though!

to do this you have to heat your lights in a oven (65 C) to heat the glue, (to remove the glass that holds thereflector).. after painting the reflector, you just heat it again to glue the glass back on...

on euro lights you have to heat the glue with a heaty gun and very slowly prise the lense off (about an hour each
) then to refit use bath sealent
