I'm only a student, I can't afford coilies just yet. Maybe when I get a full time job I'll be able to get some money together.

Polo-03 I'm doing the same thing, returning my car to (reasonable) standard when it comes to selling. Most of the things are removable, even the exterior bits that are on are removable so I'm OK.
I wouldn't worry about the 7.5" wide bit, worry about the offset!

Sorry if I sound like a dumb ass but what is the offset? This is my first set of alloys and dont really know to much about them. So now you've got me panicing! If some one could explain this it would be great! Cheers

the off set is the distance ( in mm) between the centre of the wheel and the mating surface that goes on the disc
on stock wheels its 43 mm

Do you have any drawings of this? I think i understand but am not 100%. If the standard is 43 and you were to run a 32 would this be a major problem then? Does this mean the wheel would be further in the arch? so it may rub?

It means how much they stick out...the less of the number the more they stick out.

Thats why I've been telling you they are a bit of a pig. Look at the picture link I posted on page one...it shows you how the wheel will fit under the arch...it doesn't really fit!

Ahhh!!!! Now I get it! Right well I still think there is plenty of room hopefully they wont stick out to far. I want euro look anyway so if they stick out it add's to the style. Hope it ok if not im...............(cant say it but you know what i mean)
