apex suspension

Post by Robw53 »

hi, i have just this last week had my apex suspension kit fitted, lowering it about 35/40mm i have 17's on and it still has pleanty of room under the arches but i want it lowering even more, about 60mm on the rear, so part of the tyre is hidden in the arch.

i got it from potn.com, which was the cheapest around, give them a try. it does make the ride harder but still liveable and handles ace.

hope it helps

rob

p.s. i wouldn't get coilovers as they are about £600 and only any good for track days yes there adjustable but it is over twice what i paid for mine.
just a waste of money.

Stretch the boat out and go for coilovers. Springs are o.k but once there on thats it, if you want it lower (without cutting the coils off!) You have to buy another kit, so the cost amounts to the as having coilovers put on in the first place. Ive got fk highsport coilovers on my 9n, there fantastic, best mod ever. Only cost £400, try Midland VW, they do good deals and look after there customers after the works done and dusted.........But all this is my oppinion, do what you thinks best.
