Rattling

Does anyone elses car rattle, squeak and creak? Seems something is rattling behind the dash. Something in boot is sqeaking and its driving me bonkers. I could just turn the radio up but thats not the point - it obviously shouldn't! Anyone else getting the same noises?

yea i can hear a rattle behind the dash on the passenger side mate, used to just think it was me cd's and stuff, but when i took them out i still heard it.
So, like you said, i just turn me music up....quite right though its not the point.

I took mine back becuase of a rattle - turned out to be the seat belt tensioner.

I've got a rattle but not behind the dash, its in the drivers door

and my radios broken so cant drown it out!! ha. Oh wel.

Good luck getting them to find it - mines been in 7 times in less than 3 months for the door rattle they can never fix...

haha u think ur polos rattle!! u've obviously never driven an ibiza!!
i've got most of the rattles sorted now but just when all was quiet, another couple have popped their heads up and i have no idea where they r coming from!!
my drivers seat squeaks aswell!!

dont get me started on squeaking!! my suspension sounds like ive got a baby seal caught in it!

the seal cant be freed!

it seems to be a problem with a lot of 9n's i think they might have a seal farm near by

Mine had squeeked from the day I got mine. I have taken mine back to the dealers at least 3 times now. To date, I have had a new anti roll bar and bushes replaced. I think that is what I am meaning, but one problem.... It still makes noises!!

Seems like a widespread problem with the 9n, i think i`ve got lucky so far cos mine is smooth and quiet, a big difference from the vts i had, now that bloody thing sounded as if it was going to fall apart french pis#
