A response to this same news from one of the users on Club Lupo cracked me up when I read it:
twisty b-road wrote:I'm in the wrong job

"OK guys, time to make ze Polo GTI"
"OK let's get some wheels off ze Golf"
"OK, now lets not paint zis bit of plastic where ze front numberplate goes"
"OK, get ze red piping, put that round ze grille, someone fetch some foglights"
"Stick the engine in schnell schnell, the sauerkrauts going cold"
"Das ist gut ya"

But hey, it's not a bad effort really...

I'm considering one of them after my GTi, depends on what I think of it when I see it for real and what engine it has in it!

Agreed they are a bit on the Lexus light side which I think are crap unless you have a Lexus!

Would have been better styled like this though Image

Still should be pretty nippy if it has a 1.8T

Yea i'm not a fan of the rear lights. I'm definitely going to have a drive to see what I think, but can't see me going Polo--->Golf--->Polo to be honest.:(
