They don't look like Lexus lights, they're just transparent.

Mazda 6 has Lexus lights, there are others, can't be arsed trying to remember tho.

Those look more like Arosa lights.

I like it, but it's way too similar to the Golf GTi, and if it's got a 150bhp 1.8T it may be hot on the Golf GTI's heels especially with a little fettling.

However, whether VW have learnt their lesson and will price this fairly is another thing. I can see this being an expensive car when it's released, which is what diminished sales of the G40 back in its day. It wasn't much cheaper than an 8v Golf GTi. Same problem with Lupos and Polos, the Lupo is an expensive car for what it is and a Polo isn't much more so people have gone for the Polo due to more space.

However, that'll make it rare in 10-15 years time... which is a good thing!

£15,500 to you sir!

Remember the 6n2 GTi was about £14,000 new, so you're quite right, they're pricey - £15,500 can get a Golf mk4 R32 you know! And as much as I love my Polo and would like to see what the new one is like... if I had £15k the R would be on my driveway

It'd be nice to test drive one, I mean I've had mine 4 weeks and it still shocks me sometimes when I accelerate hard in first

The white GTI in that first photo (rear view) has a US-style numberplate space... Hmmm... Are we onto something here? Polos in the US? That would be cool, they'd have to be sourced from Brazil (like US mkIV Golfs) which means 9N2 could be coming our way after all, GTI included.

BTW I prefer the 9N's looks, but a GTI version would be really sweet.
