After today's journey to work i am applying for a new rule in the Highway code.

"Any vehicle not capable of doing at least half the speed limit on a single carriageway should find an alternative route and is prohibited from using said section of road."

Again my drive to work on my fave road was ruined by and idiot doing 20mph through a 60mph zone and so little speed through a little village that my speedo didn't register it - but my trusty GPS said i was doing 8mph - in a 30mph and then back into a 60 mph lane he was back doing 20mph!!!! AARRRGGGHHHHHH no room to over take as there was 5 cars in front of me too.

Feel a bit better knowing that I'm not the only one to experience this sorta sh1t driving! Met another idiot on the road last night ... I swear they're just trying to wind me up or something!!

Not sure if it was because I'm female but this guy took a real liking to my rear bumper last night, I mean when I looked in my rear view mirror I could just see two headlights about a foot from my car! Not sure where he was going either coz the traffic in front of me was only moving about 20mph!!! Fecking cracks me up though ... touch of the brakes would soon sort him out!!!

I've yet to try the foglight trick, if someone is right up your bum, just take it easy and when its clear in front of you, quickly put on your rear foglight light, as they are real close to you, they will mistake the bright red for brake lights and stop sharp, at the same time you turn them off and put your foot down and they are left standing while your miles down the road hehe

I had one on the way back home a minute ago, we were doing 20 in a 60 then managed to get to 30, needless to say I went the other way home, then had a rather Nice R34 Skyline behind me.

I have a habbit of chasing people that anoy me. the get really paranoid. But to be honest there as so many idiots out there.

1. i hate Lorrys overtaking eachother at the same speed on dual carageway.

2. i hate people who are not concerntrating because they are too busy smoking or reading something while driving.

3. i hate barry boys who think they are the dogs in some banged up worthless nova or saxo and they dont actually care if they hit you cos the car is uninsured and worthless.

4. Those people who at roundabouts and things think they are in the correct lane and so are not and nearly write you car off.

... the list goes on.
anyone agree with any of those?

Here's one that gets me, tailgating when I'm in the van.

1. The closer you get, the less chance I can actually see you.
2. The closer you get, the less chance you have of being to overtake due to not being able to see past.
3. That bumper is solid aluminium, what do you think will come off worse - it or you?
4. As it says on the sticker on my trailer - "Carry on tailgating - If you smack in the back, do you think I'll notice?" I'm sat 3 metres away.
Tahrey1043 wrote: but, omicron, you've given me a good idea. i can't afford neither a fullsize metre-long maglite, nor the batteries and storage space for it, but i do have a shiny new triple-white-LED "headlamp" which could be bounced right into their eyes off the rearview mirror, with a bit of careful aiming. with attention thus got, handsignals may be made ---> V

Well yeah, I suppose I could use it for a torch too.

Oh dont get me started on people who take up 2 lanes driving the old mini or something stupid like that. Also people who cant judge when to come out, they see you coming 50mph and jump out thinking he'll stop "but will he or more importantly CAN HE".
This morning a woman really wound me up. Was taking a right on a fairly big roundabout and she just jumped out from the side road now blocking my exit (stupid B!tch) ofcourse I beeped untill her face was so red it was ready to explode. :x Grr

I'll bite...

4 things that really p1ss me off:

People on the phone doing 80+ on the motorway with no handsfree (usually swerving).

People who tailgate me, anywhere really but mostly in a speed camera zone (really annoys me).

People changing into my lane while traffic is comming to a stop at the last minute (causing me to brake much harder)

Motorway drivers who instantly brake when they see brakelights (causing a knockon effect) instead of guaging to see if the vehicle infront is slowing down enough. This sh1t causes traffic jams, if you leave enough distance you can tell whether you need to brake or let off the accellerator.

i have removed the little filter bit from my rear wiper......i sometimes drive without the cap on the wiper , and if anyone tailgates me i squirt my rear wiper, because there is no cap and no filter, the water jet squirts back about 3 metres........ they usually get the message........great for convertables.

Since you mention squirting people... :) if you change the direction of your washer yet sideways and squirt people as you're passing by ITS HILLARIOUS as they look around in shock wondering what the hell just happened.
