just reffering back to "macemc86" post about norwhich union asking £4000 and tesco 1700, well when i insured my first car a 1.3 fiesta it was the same but if i did my passplus it brought NU down to £1500 and brought tescos down to £1500 but i didn't have my passplus when i first insured it, and didn't have £4000 for NU and then get a return when i got my pass plus, so i was forced into going with tesco's.

but i would have preffered norwhich union.

i drive a 3dr 1.2E (no mods) and have just turned 18, and last year (with L plates) i was paying over £4000 fully comp with Zurich. I live in N.Ireland and for some reason young males here pay loooaaaads! but this year it has dropped by just over 2 grand! (thank goodness) but its still alot. All my mates get third party or try to get company car cover from thier folks businesses! its crazy!
