either i've forgotten my password (...again) or its bust
EDIT -- I'm in... and i've got one "Alert" !!!!
edit 2 -- it was a bloody "new feature" annoucement... flagged up as if it was something serious and urgent!
hm while im there i may as well find out how to sell things - just junked a 9 year old printer but saved the cartridges out of it (1/2 full black, untouched colour), and a broken scanner but saved the PSU... those and a few other things are just clutter, may as well make some dollar from them

It all seems to be working now, I don't know what went wrong, it was telling me I need to have JavaScript to get onto www.hotmail.com although I've never had any trouble with it before, couldn't get onto internet banking or sign into e-bay and hotmail! Kept telling me that something was wrong with my security setting although I hadn't touched any of them

if your computer's security is looking a bit ropey* and you dont know where to start, PM me your address and i'll send along a CDR with a copy of my 'security suite' on it .... made it up for someone at work a couple months back... so it'll need updating, but it's a pretty good start.
got Avast! antivirus on it (pretty damn good for a freebie), spybot search & destroy, ad-aware, zonealarm firewall, and maybe a couple other things (came across the master copy again yesterday, will have to double check). best thing about getting them that way is that they're direct from disc, not on a web site, so the nasties can't block access or add stuff to the download (and as it's on CD, it cant be corrupted)
* if it's "Norton", then it sure as hell will be.... McAfee not much better ... it's shocking how off the ball the big guys are.
