Sold the 9N...

...and replaced it with this:

Who wants to guess what it is? I'll give you a clue to get started - it's German, but not VAG. To give you a sense of scale, that's the rear end of a Seat Arosa on the right.

Deek
(This is just a short-term thing, I'll be back with VW in due course).

How did you get that so quickly!

Yup - here it is:

Only got it on Friday so haven't really found out what it can do. So far, understeer seems to be its main characteristic, but I haven't turned the traction control off yet.

Oh, and the first time I put my foot to the floor, I could have sworn it was chipped. It only boosts to just over 1 bar (the recode pushes it to around 1.5) so it hasn't been, but it's certainly not slow! :D

Wasn't that hard coz looking at the size of it compared to the arosa it looks so small! And BMW / Mercedes aren't renowned for small cars!

It looks quite good in black! Never driven one but I imagine it's quite good fun!

Nice.:)

Can I be nosey and ask how much you picked it up for? I am interested in getting one of these for my business, also what sort of power does it deliver, and fuel economy?
Sorry for all the q's but I am genuinely quite interested in getting one just like it.:)

Cool choice, I like the Smart Roadster/Coupe a lot. Looks sweet, especially in black.

haven't driven one of them but have driven a few Smart ForTwo's and for what they are they are immense fun...not practical at all but great fun to drive. Ideal for a second car.

Would love to drive one of these roadsters though. They looks awesome, especially the Brabus version *drool*

WOULD :D

but would also have to quickly toss the semi-auto for any manual that would bolt up ok - having seen a couple of cockpit videos with the engine noise in, it sounds like my mum changing gear rather than a sports shift

rrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr..... clunk .... RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr.... clunk... etc. Downshifting even worse

RRRRRRRRRRrrrrrr....burble burble, clunk, RRRRRRRRRrrr
(not exactly providing much engine braking or consistency)

you get the picture :)
