from a shop called Rejects!Polo_Gio wrote:So where abouts is this place you got the black stuff for your b pillars cos i reaaaaaaaaaallly want it on mine!!!!! Perhaps we could contact the shop and get a group buy??????
An idea
Nice looking car!
Why don't you do a guide on how to do it? Where the rear side window meets the b-pillar looks hard to do, as the rubber seal holding the window in looks like it doesn't have much give - anyone that has tried this will hopefully know what i mean!
P.s wana sell me the left over vynil? if there is enough for both side....plus mistakes!
Does it weather well?
Thanks
Joe

yeah a DIY post would be much appreciated Grub! Does this shop post stuff if so do you have their number or website... You could make a mint sellin that stuff on here ( well not now that we know its only bought for £2.50
)
Car looks great and i agree it has a certain thing about it that just makes you smile.

i dont know if i should make a "how to" post as i made a bit of a mess of it!
it looks fine from a distance but if u saw it close... u wud think twice
i might use the stuff i have to do it again as im not best pleased with my 1st attempt! or i'll get someone to do it properlty for me!
its very tricky to get the edge of the vynil beneath the rubber on the rear window, i have even left a few gaps down the side where u can still see paint
but its hard to notice!
also.... does anyone agree with havin the small gti badge on the rear boot window??
