Post by James14100 »

Hi,

Was in wales this weekend and was chasing a Rover 75. We overtook some s**t citroen just as i was pulling back in i noticed a cop with a gun facing my way. It's my license if i get anymroe points.

I was doing about 70ish when passing him after breaking but dunno what i was doing before.

It was a 60 zone.

The thought crossed my mind to just run him over.

I'm f****d if thats my license gone :(

Just the waiting stage now

I was talking to a Copper I know that works on the mobile cameras and he said, that sometimes if they can see you're slowing down then they won't collar you, also they usually set it to 69mph in a 60 if I remember rightly. So if you're lucky he may have seen you were slowing down and let you off.

Yeah i noticed it even worse in the new Polos. I had one for a courtesy car a few weeks ago, 1.2SE I think, the speedo was reading about 88-89 but my Road Angel (GPS accurate) was reading 80.

Errr, no hang on a minute........I was doing 70.......REALLY!!!!!!
