can i make this key work with my polo gti?

if i buy this key is it the right frequency etc to work on my polo gti?

Nope. Polo uses different central locking system to Golf.

You could put in your immobliser chip and that should do the trick once the key is cut to start car.

I think the freq is the same, im sure the Polo 6N2/GTi uses 433.92mhz, also you would obviously need remote central locking already present

Anyway, too late now
