Lambda sensor

Post by deathhour »

hi guys

do u need to use any special grease when putting a lambda sensor back into the exhust?

and is it hard to screw out to begin with? thinking I've got a problem with my sensor because it only goes around 45miles when I fill it up with £10

No, you don't need to grease the threads. Would just get melted/burnt off anyway.

They're simple to remove. Unplug the cable first and let it hang down (just so that the cable doesn't twist as you unscrew it.) Then use a 22mm spanner to remove it. Shouldn't be too tight.
