good gravy! what were you on before / paying for?
1xCD speed is only 1400kb/s
i can't trump groovy but i can also say how nice having that kind of speed is - seems the hospital network was under a pretty light load yesterday when i was downloading lots of stuff (lecture note powerpoints etc) from my college website ... 60mb of stuff onto the pendrive about two minutes including the point & click times... makes a 1mbit connection look slow, gotta love it!

I was on 2mb before. Average download speeds used to be 240 ish, now that are 950-1250 depending on the website. Ive had 1400 off blueyonder but it drops after a while like the screeny i showed.
I pay 35quid a month for 10MB not bad considering the speed increase!!
At the moment its not at its full potential because most websites cant cope but the best part is, if you are downloading at something like 250-500 and browse the web its still super fast!
Also, if you download 10 files they all run at about 130ish and so its very good for downloading music etc. Off itunes offcourse
.
Gaming is where it really holds its own, ping is still about 22 ish but its silky smooth and for fighting games the registration of bullets is f*****g amazing, like playing on lan. Cant wait to get my other 2gb of ram to make 4gb and my geforce 6800 ultra this week.
Phill.
