running temperature

hi what should a mark 3 1.3 cl coupe run at. generally i am between the big mark after the 70 (90?) and the next little one (100?)

Sounds tad high but th guages aren't fantasticaly accurate 90 deg is thermostat control point

if the car's not playing up it might not be anything to worry about - does it go there after 5-10 mins and stay fairly stable, or waver up and down a bit (with the fan coming on) ... or does it shoot up and look like it might go higher?

could be a small blockage on your radiator or a slightly sluggish thermostat perhaps, but around 90 is a reasonable temperature, with some allowance for the guage to be off (if its as poorly adjusted as my fuel guage, then it could be misreading by a good 5-10'c)
