I was aiming to put a transit engine in the truck, ended up with a 2.3. Still, it's done and rolling, so I can't complain.

Next job is convince myself to do the GT on the Mk2, and get my arse in gear and do it.

Front bumper's being smoothed a week on Monday, then it's time to save for the Audio, can anyone say "squeeze a 4cuft ported box in a Polo's boot"

Mine is currently sitting unused under a layer of dust in my grandma's garage with an engine that blows blue smoke and a gearbox that rattles, slowly siezing up while I can't afford to run it :( I miss my car..

got my ICE sorted.. for now, tints sorted, interior colour code now pukka, uprated clutch and new GB ( )

front bumper is almost finished (doing it myself for fun), hopefully got a buyer for my 17s and a seller of some brock cup 15s

rest of the kit and exhaust comes off when the wheels are on and its getting slammed with angel eyes and boser extension

also need to sort out the grills/fogs for my front end, get some bigger brakes and figure out what i want to do in the engine bay and if i want a respray

basically project "destroy mothership" is ready to get into full swing, just need those wheels and it wont take me a week to do the other stuff 8)

Well as always I have promised much and delivered 'nout!

The plan this year was to fit some Eibach sportline springs and a B&M kit, but my insurers have put the brakes on modifications for a little while!

The future plans are to fit some G60 steels, which may have to wait until after Christmas due to the demands of buying presents and going out to Christmas meals/partys lots  and then have the BBS rims taken off the car ready to be refurbished.

The Eibach's will wait until June - have decided against coilies as they're very expensive, will have all of the suspension components checked over at the time of fitting springs to make sure everything is as it should be :)

The B&M is still under my bed, brand new, boxed and unused. It may be sold off

On the plus side mods this year included an enfig S2000 aerial, TT pedals, a sunglasses holder, Bosch aero wipers and a new set of Toyos all round (much much better than the budget s**t put on by the previous owner!) Oh and a Poppy Coral.

my "project" wont really start till January, either way the GT will come off the road for
1) full resparay, 1/2 colour coded bumpers
2) renewing as much as i can engine wise
3) fitting new suspension & wheels
4) sorting out the interior (dnt really no wot i want 2 do with it 2 b honest)

that should keep me busy over the cold months & hopefully b all ready 4 the show season :D

Well, only managed a few mods on my Mk5 Polo

GTi grille
16V Badge on the front (which needs fixing back on)
New Headunit replacing the old Gamma Radio
Upgraded my front door speakers

Probably not going to touch my car really until next year

But for the future:

Front Angel Eyes
Debagde the "1.4" sign and replace with the 16V Badge
New suspension
New alloys
Replace speakers in the rear
Stealth selve and add my 6 by 9's i have already.
Amplifier
Sub
Also need some body work done ie front bumper has green paint from my friends green Astra (long story).
Probably going to get my front bumper smoothed and the rear one needs a bit of dressing up.
Tints
Exhaust
A filter of some sort

I think thats me done for awhile after all that. Oh and my car needs servicing sooner or later!

I've lost count of how much I've spent on my car this year with the engine conversion, so not much will change over the winter months.

But, I am hoping to be sporting some new wheels by next year's show season. 8)

not alot changed lately
last addition was german plates.
mods to follow include...
fitting of side-skirts (which i have got now, but can't afford to have them painted and fitted yet!)

changing my mirrors (possibly going back to oe ones and buying a left hand drive small mirror)

new alloys (something euro and ideally 16")

a proper ice install (when the weather cheers up abit in spring)

watch this space kind of attitude at the moment

Non exsistent for me

Actually gone backwards!
Exhaust + backbox needs replacing I think
Dont have much time to take my car for a service. :?

Only thing I done was find the perfect wheels for my "project" but they dont fit  (incidently... anyone want some White Enkei 10 spokes to fit Suzuki/Madza 4x100 pcd)
And any mods just seem a waste of money for me to do to my car... I think its great you guys are liberal and spend what you feel your car deserves.
