Here's the new Skyline...

... or the GT-R as it seems to be called. I know it's not VW, but might still be of interest:

Aye it's not going to wear the Skyline badge.

Not too keen on the fron of it but i like the fact the rear has been kept "traditional".

Dont like the front... silly American styling.

I'd prefer a styling based more on the Infiniti G35 Coupe 8)
Oh which the 350Z is based on... so a GT-R R35 if you like.

I think the G35 is the current Skyline sedan in Japan but there is no GT-R version.
Its infact the GT-R badge thats more important than the Skyline badge for Skyline enthusiasts.
The back is still great... keeping the traditional circle lights 8)
Come to think of it the G35 front isnt that much different to the Proto's... so maybe keeping with the wide headlights of all the skylines should be taken over to the new GT-R.

lol, cheers si .... just having a rail against state of t'internet in its modern guise. "no need!", etc :)
if id not been lazy i coulda just loaded it up in internet explorer, but there's still that precedent

stylings pretty good, more of the same but a bit curvier, with that interesting pattern to the lights / carbonfibre on the bumpers. might look a bit silly (like scorpio lights) in times to come, but its striking and fairly different at the moment (like focus lights were ... suppose these ape them a little anyway).
