Yeah, I think it's just a sportier model.

3.2 quattro Sport Manual 6.5 257 £24,390
3.2 quattro S line Manual 6.5 257 £25,390

£1000 is the difference, I know you get an S-Line spoiler, 18's instead of 17's.

Not too sure if there's any other difference, just a sportier version of the sport.

Funny you should ask this - I was in my local Audi dealer this weekend.

The S line option on all their saloon models is just a body kit that makes it look a bit like an S variant, most notably in the lower door mouldings.

This place had a couple of A4s with this kit on and they looked the business. Didn't look too over the top, either - just made the models without it look too high off the ground.

I know for the A4s it's a £1400 option.

Deek.

Varies from model to model.

The S-Line model on my Father's A6 included:

Bodykit,
Sports Seats and different trim inside,
Perforated leather steering wheel and gear selector,
S-Line 18inch alloys and lowered sports suspension,
Special S-Line colour choices,

Also, at the time at least, it gave access to various options such as:

14inch brake disc system,
Even lower and stiffer suspension,
19inch multi-spoke alloys.

Think it might have changed now as they began to integrate the options packages more. Well worth the money anyway.

Which engine size has he gone for? Mum and Dad have got a 2.4se Audi Cab, but not the S-Line, still has heated electric leather seats, climate control etc, but only has 16's.
