That's the downside, they get the money straight away by copying your card yet when it comes to YOU getting it you have to wait ages? I didn't know it let you type bastards that's why I put the stars in

That's the worst thing about it, you earn it for some other s**t head to spend it for you, and like I say there's nothing you can do, then you have to try and prove it wasn't you

Did you use your card where they may have taken the card out of your sight for a short time?
My mum had her card used via Argos Online... sooo easily traceable if they wanted to look for them... just use the order number and check the shipping address.

That's where I think it's wrong, you get treated like it was you that used it but you're saying someone stole it!

I used to work in a bank preventing this, it's a lot of fun catching the bastards while in the shop!

yeah, you just gotta hope they're thick enough to try using it again (if the bank doesnt immediately block it)

i dont let my card out of sight at all if i can help it - it only takes a moment to note the 16 digit number, name, expiry and sec code, then they can easily find your address on electoral register later. it's more worrying about the card machines that can be easily altered to copy the magstrip when it's swiped, and you don't need any extra authorisation then... that's what chip and pin has really been brought in to stop, rather than anyone copying your signature. if they were bright the pin code would be extra with the signature, not a replacement.

good luck dude... some bastard swiped my wallet a couple months back (out of works locker room!) and i was on the phone to the bank to block it so bloody fast when i found out, even though they'd already caught the sod when i heard - just in case he'd had the card out and chucked it to a mate or camphoned the details to someone
