yes , as it was raining tonight i decides to go there and have a mess around with the camera, need to get a mini tripod as the pictures are abit blur

Gerard said you actually had to raise it up a little after u'd fitted the coilovers cos it was so low.

yes , the rears sit 50mm from the bottom threads due to the offset of the G60 wheels being 35 so there is an 8mm differnce between the them and the bbs and they rubbed on the inner rear plastic arches when going over a bumpy road , but going to see Gerald on sat to get my tracking and bbs balance and put them on for bathgate on sunday

mate what tyres you running on the steelies? 45/50 profile?

right in thinking that they're 6j x 15" ??

think i'm running bit lower on the front so wanna make sure i've got clearance if i get a budget set of 195/50 tyres...

i am running 195/45/15 rainsport 2 ,remember the rear will rub due to the offset of the G60 inside the rear plastic arches

i'm used to rubbing mate, running 8" x 15" on the rear about 80mm down on coilies!

that'll be nothing!

15x8's dont rub (well i lie cos ive just had my arches flared out for the schmidts)

Im thinkin of putin the bbs 16's for the winter but 15's make the car so much better in all conditions its like a go- kart!! So im gunna kepp them on and get the fully mirror polished b4 next years shows!!

O yeah reason im written msg (gettin side tracked) i think G60 Rims look better than the BBS GTi rims!! they look the muts nuts!!

try running ET25 centres mate! thats an extra 20mm over the std GTi BBS...

Actually it's not just on an ET basis if the rim widths were the same it would be just 13mm but with wider rims it all changes - drastically!!
