thats pretty harsh!
the kerb on my drive is sort of like a quater circle, the black finisher strip on the front bumper nearly touches the kerb. thats going slow as possible, startard ride height with those VW steely wheels
i might just skim a load of cement at the bottom of the kerb to try and flatten it out. thing is, the council actually owns the kerb and the small footpath that my drive backs onto.
sometimes i wonder where my taxes should go
full lock with 15's or 16's on my MK4

my wheel search is narrowing down now.
im defo going for 15's, makea change from everyone chopping their cars up and running 17"+.
either some Toora platinum 8 or some Mille miglia revenge 4.
im going for the chunky multispoke look. ive seen a 2000 polo on 17" wolfrace voodoo's, they look great on a chunky polo. doubt they would look as good in 15" though

i couldnt agree more with you mate, but after hearing that 15's with 45 tyres go on with ZERO mods i know that 16"+ wheels are a no no
16's with 40 tyres fit apparently, but the choice of wheels in that size is very limited.
the reason why id rather settle for 15's is because i had a 998cc mini up until last monday ( i got fed up and scrapped it ). i had a tough time putting 13x7's on that and vowed never going down that route again.
plus, even wheels with a marginal size increase kill the already cack performance on a 1 litre

Toora Hyper Silver With 195/4516's
I have a Derv Polo with 16" alloys on and it rubs on slightly when full lock is applied. Doesn't effect the Tyre either - I checked to see if it was rubbing the tyre but it isn't.
The cars will be lowered 30mm at the end of this month too so hopefully it stays the way it is.
