water leaks on a MK III

OK guys, winters here and my car has sprung an interior leak. Looks like its from the passenger side near the door area. Carpet and seat wet, but can't seem to find the leak

Any hints on common leak areas???

Thanks for the info, looks like a few hours work taking everything apart and cleaning it
