Accelerating Handbrake

Anybody have any ideas as to why my Polo cl coupes handbrake light comes on when i accelerate?

my light used to come on when i accelerated and went ove bumps but it turned out to be the brake cylinder was f***** and it was only picking up that there was a problem sometimes which was weird,

Had the same problem on mine,but was when i was braking downhill.Turned out to be a dodgy brake flkuid res cap. Try disconnecting the wire off the top and see if that stops it.

might have got a bit of moisture inside the connector ...

suspect i had that when i put my replacement cap on (oops, id meant to send a confirmation mail to the sender that it had turned up :D). Cleaned up the cap and the master reservoir it came attached to, might not have dried it the best i could ... after putting it on the car and hooking up the warning light was on dimly all the time, but decided to leave it as it came on bright both on pulling the handbrake and pushing the test button on the top of the cap

seemed to dry out after a couple of days and work properly. maybe the seal isnt fitted properly around the wires on yours.

cheers for the help :D Will have a look first thing tomorrow. Now to solve all the other problems this car has
