can't believe it
Yet another sporting hero (although Richard Burns had so much more going for him than George Best)
A great rally driver and the only british bloke to win the WRC

before you say it...Colin Mcrae is Scottish :wink:

very sad news, i was shocked. george best was sad news, but to be frank, he did bring it upon himself by staying on the drink!
those scobby rb5 will be worth more now.

I'm really disappointed with the media.

Every day since Friday they've filled the first few pages of most tabloids with stories of a "heroic" alcoholic who drank himself to death.

Richard Burns though? The young, highly tallented legend who, this century, did this country proud in several world rallies?

No, we'll give the limelight to an old man with a drink problem, who lost all his tallent 30 odd years ago.
