Hey all

finally put my new wheels on , had them for a year and got it lowered too. Posted some pics in the gallery too. Let me know what ya think. I almost prefered the standard wheels as it sat lower (1 inch) and the mud flaps scrapped over small humps but i dont know. The new ones are pretty bling :D

wish i had taken pics of it during the stages but . . . . lazy . Anyway. Basically Screen came in a case. Took off case apart. Cut biger hole in OEM dash and fitted the front casing of screen in . Then fibregalssed it in place back and front. The fillered it, got it all smoothed off. (mission!) Then sanded all down. Plastic primed, Primed, sanded, sprayed from like 8 foot away with glass black acrylic, about 11 light coats. Couldnt believe i managed to get the same look as the dash. Was chirping! :P The screen/circuit board is screwed onto the front part of the case it came in so you can remove the rear of the case no problem, which is basically how it is.

I had a red 3 door gti, and never got around to any mods, apart from a K&N air filter :oops:
