most are only opening an extra 2hrs each way
24hr licencing has been blown out or proportion by media as fkin usual
maybe a few london clubs n pubs and a few scattered in the bigger cities but nowhere else

i havent yet seen anywhere thats actually posted up a board of their hours yet, pub or shop, which is doing my noodle in

my so-called local has their revised license posted by the door, which says 10am to midnight monday to sunday, plus a half hour drinking up time........ but time was called at 11 tonight (a half hour later, granted) out of the blue, and one of the staff we know fairly well says they didn't open til gone 11 in the morning either

so perhaps they're extending their potential opening hours, but no longer feeling the need to push the envelope all the way, just to get a little extra flexibility when needed?

odd thing on their license also says they're licensed for "films" and "late night refreshement" in addition to alcohol. Now, there's no space for any kind of big screen inside, and i havent a clue what the second is, so i'm assuming they're both available out the back if you ask the landlord nicely...
