I think the early family guy stuff was better, Stewie's plans were grander and it seemed as if Brian (the dog) was the only one that realised what he was saying. With the episodes on BBC2, it seems as if the baby can actually talk due to the extent to which his monther responds to what he's saying rather than what he's doing.

Anyway, I won't admit to pvr'ing it and just scanning through for the Stewie bits, though - oh no.

Deek.

American Dad is about a gazillion trillion zillion times better than Family Guy.

The episodes on BBC2 are from season 3.

There's never been a low point for family guy. Season 4/5 are just damn hysterical, it's so random now it's unreal. There's still stories/plots but the flashbacks are even better than before. Stewie's character is getting better and better - so quotable and ridiculous.

As for being able to understand him - Brian is still the only one who can. Pay attention. No one ever acknowledges him with a direct answer like "Mummy, I want a soda" to which a reply would be somehting along the lines of stop being grumpy. That doesn't necessarily mean they understand what he's asking or sayin at all.

The absolute funniest episodes from the two newest series has to be like 'Breaking Out Is Hard To Do, Peter's Got Wood, Brian Goes Back To College and The Fat Guy Strangler - these are at least my favourite funnies anyway.

Like I said. I don't think it's gone down hill yet or had any low points. Maybe poorer episodes but definately not as bad as it's brother 'American Dad'. Yikes, I just don't enjoy that show at all.

Typical now as well that it's on terrestrial TV suddenly so many people are like "Have you seen that show Family Guy?" *frustrated face*!!
