fire in Hemel Hempsted
anyone near this incident?? can anyone see it or did anyone feel the vibration of the blast??

Well i got in from town about 2 this morning but woke up to hear my bro and rentz talking about a large bang this morning - im over at aylesbury which is about 20 miles away
Apareny its the 5th largest fuel refinery in britain
Theres about 40 injuies too

yup only about 20 miles away from where i live, once the fog lifted from where i worked we took our kids for a walk up a hill and could see just a wall of black smoke some miles away
you could even smell it as the wind was coming our way, decided not to take them out again after watching the lunchtime news and hearing that the smoke is possibly letting off an irritant!
They reckon its going to take 5 days to put the fire out, as there is still one tank of oil that hasn't exploded and its only a matter of time they say.
The M1 was shut around here and they are saying that the m25 junction 19 might be closed tomorrow morning because of the position of it and that it will be a north wind tomorrow.
Did anyone see the pictures from a sattelite image? astonishing!
lucky that no one was seriously hurt!
