Car: Polo 6n2
Wheels: 195/40/15
Ride Height: Lowered around 40/50mm on Eibach Sportline Springs
Comments: No arch work needed. Maybe worth investing in some uprated shocks along with the springs as standards will gradually wear out but currently just replaced the springs and this is running fine

is that a 7x17 rim or a 7.5" rim out of interest? I wont be dropping it 100mm anyway, it's going to be wifes dailydriver, so it's got to remian driveable!

My wheels are 7x17. I'm going to change my tyres to the pirelli 195/40/17 as i think it will make a huge difference and will stop the rubbing quite a bit. Also i can drive the car when its down 100 mill and it does rub, but in the picture of my car below its lowered 150 for show as ModifiedMadness said i can't drive it like this. Wish i could tho cause its so smart when you see it like that.
My rims are 16" and its wrapped with 195/40/16 rubber...
Been lowered 40-50mm with no rubbing, if you got for 16" then get 195/40 tyres as this will keep the rolling radius and width almost the same as the standard wheels with 195/45 tyres.
Its a harsher ride with just the springs and as Randall mentioned, after a while you might want to invest in some uprated shocks as the standard ones will take so much and then start to fail.
