Check with your insurance, you might not lose your NCB, or only not get this year's.

The normal bar steward of the issue is the excess.

That said, when I had my car broken into, I didn't claim. They peeled up the gaffa tape that was holding the top of my Fiat Panda's door together, lifted the door lock and nicked the tape deck that cost me a fiver off a carboot.

Real sorry to hear that Laura, what a sh!t world we live in, you can't have anything nice without some A hole thinking they can take it or smash it up

My excess works out about £500 so I hope my car stays ok, if I ever caught anyone doing mine in, I don't think I'd be responsible for what I done. Let's just say I think I'd test the tanks at work out and see if people do sink and not come back up!

Hope you get it sorted.

i'm gunna call up today and see what the deal with my insurance company is and wether they cover ausio equiptment, i didnt really have time to yesterday, and was in no fit state, but if i would lose my NCB i dont wanna claim, unless i absolutely have to. I've got a few quotes from body shops, the best one so far is £300 to replace the door (but i have to supply the door), spray the door, spray my rear quarter panel (which will get rid of my key mark on the same side), and the front wing and skirts... so a full side respray :( shame im not getting a koolio paint job done tho :(

M1TCH...
where abouts is it that you live? as i would be interested in the Door? and do you know how much they would charge for it, srappies down my way are charging about the £40-£50 mark. do you also know if they would deliver, or is it collection only? and it is a passenger side door? (sorry about all the questions!!! xxx)
