One thing i cant stand is the inconsiderate drivers (especially thoses with led brake lights) who sit at traffic lights at night with their foot on the brake. Why do they do it? If they are hit from behind then they will then roll into the car in front as so on.......so why not put the handbrake on as ur supposed to and stop slowly burning the retinas at the back of my eyes with their brake lights. I've tried to cover my eyes in the hope these twats will look in their rear mirror and say " oh i better not blind the poor guy behind me" but judging by their lack of consideration i can only assume they dont need to use their rear view mirrors either. I've even thought if i back off a bit and put full beam on then maybe just maybe i can blind them too but this would dazzle the other road users so am left to suffer.
Am not gonna ask if ppl on here do it i just as that you's think about ppl at nyt. Surely we arent all in such a rush that applying and removing the handbrake will make us late.......
Even the highway code can support:
94: You MUST NOT use any lights in a way which would dazzle or cause discomfort to other road users.
Im sure the highway code does not mean not to use brakes.
I do find it highly annoying though!
At the moment im driving a C class Merc and its a auto and if you dont switch into N or put you foot on the brake it creeps forward. So maybe some people are too lazy to move the leaver into N.
