Hello people if I buy this car you'll be hearing a lot more of me I'm sure, basically I drive a 1978 Triumph Spitfire which I've just restored, now I'm also in need of another motor for a few months and I've seen the following so plz lemme know if you think it's a good price:

K reg VW Polo 1.3 CL coupe, about 120k, black and that's about all I know at the moment about it, the guy who I found out through says its mint condition and he wants £500 for it but I'm sure I can get him down, this isn't a lot of money but really I wanted to know what you thought it was worth and if they're good sellers, also any common faults I should look out for when viewing it and do they drive good, economical etc. just general info. I'll let you know how I get on if I do buy it on go the deep dish 15's and bring on the lowering!

£500 is prob towards the top end of wot 2 pay for a CL, tho its obviously depends on overall condition so its up2 you. Common faults are rusted petrol tank neck & water leaks in the inide of the car.

Should be very economical but dont expect 2 much out of the engine, they are quite underpowered IMO

cheers Robz :D
