suspension problems- any 9n owner

Post by M7 »

sorry for posting about this again.....
but have you found that you have had any suspension problems?

my offside bush has gone, anti roll bar has moved and shocker is damaged.

vw actually told me about these problems and recomended i got it booked in to get sorted. so i did, then 6 weeks down the line they refused to do the work claiming that the springs caused the problems.
they said that the Apex springs were not specific for my car and made the anti roll move and knocked the bush out.

now i know people will say they wont touch modded cars on warrenty, but they were the ones who told me to book the car in and told me the faults!!

but lowering the car with just springs does not move the anti roll bar if it is done correctly as mine was.

just want to know if anyone has found any of these problems on their polo as standard. vw now claim it is Apex's fault as their springs are not sepcific to my car and should be sold with a new anti roll bar as the standard one cannot cope.

they are a joke really. great cars, s**t customer service.

I don't think mine have been replaced, occasionally get squeeks and knocks from the front though,

Is it just a case of just ringing up the dealer and asking for it to be done?

I still get a knock from the passenger side once in a blue moon too.
